Hi my name is Kim Bain and I am excited about this class, that is if I can every figure out this Blog thingy! HA! I am a 47 year old junior and this is the first time I have ever even looked at a blog hence my confusion. Have read all of the readings in the first assignment and they are fascinating, and I have already learned some cool things. For one I never believed that I was a feminist, but I am down to my pedicured toes. Thank goodness for all the wonderful and brave women who helped us to have the freedoms that we have today. I was married for 26 years to a very abusive individual and finally got the courage to leave two years ago and move back home to Fort Wayne. No one man or woman should every have to deal with physical or mental abuse period! Anyway look forward to all the great things I am going to learn from both the professor and my fellow students.
